The Bath Dive Centre was opened in March 2001 to serve the training and equipment needs of the large and growing diving community in the Bath area and has become the central focus for diving activity in the Bath district. The Bath Dive Centre offers a fully stocked retail outlet, training opportunities for all, dive holiday services, full equipment servicing, refills and equipment hire.
Andy has been a PADI Dive Instructor since 1981 and has a wealth of experience. Andy is an underwater film and video cameraman and has had his work shown on BBC, ITV and Sky Television. Andy is also a Commercial Sat Diver.
Collin has been diving for eight years and has been an Instructor for the past five years. Collin’s history is in Sales and Marketing within the Medical Industry. Collin is a TDI extended range diver and has a special interest in diving British wrecks.
In addition to being better known as one of Bath Dive Centre's Divemasters, Grant has been sailing for 30 years and holds an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean certificate with a Commercial Endorsement. He is also a qualified Cruising Instructor capable of examining Day Skipper candidates at sea for the practical part of the cruising scheme.
Mike has been diving for many years as a PADI and SAA diver; and recently qualified as a PADI Instructor. Mike has no hair which is ironic as he also runs a hair salon in Bath!
Steve is one of the PADI Instructors who works with the Dive Centre, and has many years of experience with Bath BSAC. Steve has dived extensively in British waters, and has also dived in Thailand, Philippines, Bali, Egypt, and Australia.
Diver Dan is the Bath Dive Centre's mascot. He has been on all our dive holidays and has dived in the Maldives, Philippines, Thailand, Gozo, Scotland and Egypt. His interpersonal skills are poor but he is very reliable. Diver Dan has an extensive family who would love to accompany divers on dive outings or holidays. Applications to 'Adopt a Dan' are available from within the Dive Centre.
Chris is a keen member of the Dive Centre team, part of Bath BSAC and is ex Navy. Chris has dived extensively in UK waters, Antigua, Egypt, Dubai, Thailand and Portugal. Chris is a connoisseur of red wine.
