With over 70% of the earths surface covered by water, its not surprising that scuba diving has become one of the fastest growing sports. Taking those first steps couldn't be easier. Just call the Bath Dive Centre or pop in and we'll get you on your way to diving whether it be a 'try out' session in the pool or plunging straight in and undertaking your first diving qualification.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program allows
you to experience the thrill and excitement of diving under the
supervision of a qualified PADI professional in pool or pool-like
conditions. During your adventure you'll master basic concepts and
scuba skills and experience, first hand, weightlessness and breathing
underwater. Some of the skills practiced during this program could
count towards your Open Water certification.

open water course
As a PADI Open Water Diver, the most recognised
and respected rating in the world, will give you the freedom to dive with a
buddy independent of a professional anywhere in the world. The course
consists of a mixture of performance based activities in the classroom, pool
(confined water) and sea (open water). The Open Water course
allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
