Why PADI Rescue Diver?

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is the perfect choice for those divers who wish to be better prepared to help others and themselves. It is a comprehensive course giving divers a complete understanding of self-help, accident management, the ability to intervene to assist other in an emergency

 

Minimum Age

Rescue Diver 15 yrs, Junior Rescue Diver 12 yrs.

 

Course Materials

Rescue Diver Crew Pack. Rescue Diver DVD.

 

Course Prerequisites

Completion of a sanctioned CPR Course (EFR) and Advanced Diver qualification. 20 logged dives.

 

Course Content

Completion of knowledge reviews, successfully complete the Rescue Diver Exam, demonstrate mastery of all rescue skills, demonstrate mastery of rescue scenarios, and complete an emergency assistance plan. The practical part of the course is normally run over a Sunday and Monday.

 

Time Table

 

Day One - Sunday

Three to four dives, from the shore. Completion of 10 Rescue Exercises and the associated skills.

 

Day Two - Monday

Three to four dives, from the shore. Completion of 4 Rescue Scenarios.

 

Final Examination - To be completed at the Bath Dive Centre.
